fibromyalgia may be all in the muscles,or so they say,but some day's the brain just can't seem to catch up.
the constant pain fibromyalgia suffers have takes a big strain on the brain, even simple tasks become a hard to manage puzzle, where was i going?what was i doing, why did i put the phone in the fridge?,lol
pain is a constant so any other non so called important thought may be just that un important.
but we must live,do our chores, our friends and family still need us,so just try to stay on task, take one thing at a time, one day, hour ,moment, and mabey you can learn like me even with a fibro fog, things can still get done.
making lists,is a #1 tool for us,when pain takes all of your thought and energy,a list can do your remembering for you.
start early when the brain is restedand write it down, what's needed, expected of you that day,
check them off as you go,remember one thing at a time, and don't overdo, you will apy for it later,i made the mistake of weeding the garden at noon on a very hot day,and got so into it that i forgot the fibro, and as a result i was to have a very bad meltdown, aching muscles, sweating like a pig, very overheated, not good,i could barely walk the resyt of the day.so.remember to be kind to your self.go slow, and know your limits.
mine are the heat(ugh, south Louisiana, can be hell)lol, the weather changes, stress, and most of all overworking the big muscles of the thighs and back.
so kiddies, hang in there,we are all together fighting fibro everday i have suffered for over 10 yrs, when fibro was't coo,lol
fibro fog anyone?
