well kiddies, made it through the storm, had to buy a generator because could not leave(i am disabled),( i had a brain tumor removed.) (and back surgery)and did not have the funds, but hubby did get paid that Friday before the storm,so we thought long and hard, should we buy a generator or not- on the pro side,we would not lose all the food in our fridge &freezer, and we would have a light, and 1 air conditioner,con-it would take all our money to buy and gas the thing-what to do,time was running out,a friend of ours at Stine's had one,but we had to hurry down there ASAP,so we bought the darn thing.
Sunday we lost power, and did not get power till Wednesday pm,
so i turned in a form to fema to see if we could get reimbursed for the generator, the fuel costs, lost wages, for 2 day's,etc, now, the run around, fema no longer reimburses for generators,if i can get my Dr to write a letter to say i medically need one(i am going to try ),but the other expenses???
dutiful,so we have zip to live on till Friday till the next hurricane comes this way,I hope it leaves southwest Louisiana alone cause i for one can't afford another one
